Should you be Checking your Content with AI Detectors?

The short answer: No. They might be helpful for detecting some of the phrases, but they are certainly not necessary.

There are no definitive signs that Google prefers content written by humans.

However, your content should ALWAYS factor in elements that contribute to E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness). Here’s the PDF from Google about it.

The gist of it is that your content should be helpful, provide value, show that you’re a real person, and have some indication of trust.

AI, on its own, isn’t great at this.

So, while it’s perfectly fine to use AI for content creation, it’s not really cool to just hit that publish button without adding your personal touch. 😊

I hope this post helps you increase the value of your writing, build your brand, and save time doing it! 😉
